Solidtex Industry Sdn Bhd was setup in 1996 at Batu Pahat as a manufacturer in textile industry.
We aim to be a reputable and reliable manufacture of high quality covered elastic yarns for textile and garment industry. We believe that the best way to secure long-term business relationship with customer is provide best quality output with reasonable pricing. Therefore, customer satisfaction has always been our highest priority and we inculcate a sense of quality and professionalism in all our staff.

Solidtex has 2 vertical integrated divisions:

  • Covered Elastic Yarn & Covered Spandex Yarn – covering high quality rubber thread/spandex with Nylon or Polyester yarn for different type of industrial usage. The products range cover all the requirements and needs for sock, hosiery and garments manufacturing, trimmings and corsets production, knitted gloves, knitted rubber band and ribbons and belts applications.
  • Sock – Specialize knitting different type of sock based on customer requirement; the output range from school sock, casual sock and sport sock with advanced computerized machinery from Italy.

To-date, the capacity of elastic yarn division is approximately 1,500 tons annually including the usage by sock division. The output mainly shipped across the global to USA, Thailand, Pakistan, Brazil, Bangladesh, India, Austria, China, Dubai, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Vietnam and etc.

The sock division produce about 150,000 dozen of sock in a year with 24 hours production. Basically 60% of the outputs are marketed to most of the local hypermarket and departmental store under in-house brand, “The Mask” and “Sofian”. The rest of the capacity is filled up by Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) from several leading sport international brand and some custom made order from Singapore.

Solidtex Industry Sdn Bhd has become one of the largest sock knitting manufacturers in Malaysia with the strong support from the elastic yarn division. Elastic and spandex yarns are produced in-house, on top of that, Solidtex is one of the yarns traders across South East Asia. In another word, sock knitting division actually enjoys cheaper raw material cost as compared to its competitors.
